For those who might be interested…here are a few highlights from the most amazing touring experience of my career, with some of the best people!
Alright, people, I’m back with another edition of #djformputitonblast. This time, I want you all to know about some very talented ladies who I just happen to call good friends as well. I met Jill Pickering and Kate Rapier when we all toured with Kelly Clarkson. I first met them in 2007, when I briefly worked with them all in California for a few months, and then was reunited with them in 2009, when I joined KC’s band full time. Three years of touring and hanging with them made me like them even more. Great artists, great songwriters, and even better people. They have both become so special to me and my whole family. They actually hang out with my wife, Gaby, more than me now. 🙂
Jill and Kate recently released a full album called, “Heart Of Stone”. If you don’t have it, click the link and go get it now! And, just the other day, they released their first video from that album to a song called, “What Do You Say”. Great summer-chill-out-with-some-sweet-tea-in-the-backyard-song.
If you share this post, don’t forget to tag it #djformputitonblast.

IE (aka Kelly fans for life!)
Hey friends. Happy Monday! Like we said last Friday, this is a special post for us. Its about two years in the making and we are very excited to finally be able to share it with you. You may have seen some rumblings on twitter about this, you may have seen a couple of our posts on twitter or facebook about it and some of you have been asking questions. Consider this the official announcement regarding the subject!
Incorporated Elements has produced two remixes for Kelly Clarkson that are featured as live performances on her Smoakstack Sessions EP. If I Can’t Have You and You Love Me are included on the CD that is bundled as a bonus EP with The Stronger Deluxe CD which can be purchased HERE!
We worked really hard on the studio versions of these remixes and hopefully, one day you’ll get to hear those. For now, we don’t think anybody will be disappointed with the live versions, performed by the band and sung by Kelly live!
Also, most of you will know that Kelly “leaked” her song, You Love Me, today. If you haven’t heard it yet, take a listen at the bottom of this post. And if you can’t wait to hear the finished, live version of our remix of If I Can’t Have You, we also added a video of Kelly and the Band playing it at a concert earlier this year!
Thank you all so much for your questions and support regarding our remixes. We love the challenge of putting our spin on a finished piece of music and, hopefully, turning it into something great on its own.
Kelly’s album, Stronger, will be released on October 24th! Pre-order your copy of the Deluxe CD HERE and receive the bonus EP featuring live performances of our remixes!!!

If I Can’t Have You – Salt Lake City, UT
Here are a few pics from Europe so far…I’ll try to keep updating with more as we go…
So after taking in my first Kelly Clarkson concert experience, I gotta say…I am really impressed. The Washington branch of IE has been hearing about this show for a while now, though at times, it has been hard to picture how everything that Ric has been describing to us actually fit together. Now, the picture is much clearer.
Looking back on the night, I do have a clear favorite performance. She sang the obvious Kelly Clarkson selections (and a couple not so obvious choices) from her catalog, and did an excellent job with each one; however, it was her cover of the White Stripes song ‘7 Nation Army’ that really got me. The video is a bit shaky, and it’s hard to recreate the actual energy in the arena on a Youtube video-but the performance is still pretty crazy. I’m just not sure I’ll ever listen to the original song the same way ever again.
Oh, and you may recognize the DJ who opens up the video. He sets the mood off right for this one. Check it out…
