As 2011 has come to a close, I, like many of you, find myself reflecting on the year past: what went well and what didn’t; favorite memories, aaand some not so favorite memories; what we accomplished, and what we hope to accomplish in 2012, etc. One of the things I like to do through all this is to put together ‘favorite lists.’ Not only does it force me to objectively look at what I really liked the past year, but I have also found it enjoyable to look back years later at these lists and see how my tastes have evolved.

So with no further introduction, here are my top 10 favorite songs of 2011.
