Where has all the fun gone?

So while doing some research online, I randomly stumbled across Michael Buble’s video to ‘Haven’t Met You Yet.’ Not only is the song a solid pop song, it was refreshing to me to watch people actually enjoy doing, and being a part of, music. Throughout my music career, I have always subscribed to the basic thought that for whatever kind of music you set off to make, there should be an element of ‘fun’ involved in the process. If it ceases being enjoyable…if the creative rush ever dies out…that may be the time to take a step back, and reevaluate what you’re doing, and why you are doing it.

Because really, every time that we are able to step into a studio, and are able to create/collaborate, it truly is a privilege. Watching this random Michael Buble video, in it’s own quirky way, brought this home for meĀ once again. Creating music is a blessing-every once in a while, it’s just good to get that reminder. :-)

With that, here’s the video that started this whole train of thought…enjoy.
